Are you a Weekend Nanny in London searching for a new weekend role?
A lovely professional family based in Highgate, London (N2) is seeking a Weekend Nanny to look after two girls aged 6 and 4 y/o. Ideally, the nanny will cover some bank holidays and school holidays – BUT only by mutual agreement and def not a requirement for the role.
The Nanny will be capable of looking after the girls sole charge, with minimum involvement of the parents, she must be very organized and preferably a confident driver (a car can be provided). The role can be both live-in on Saturday night OR live-out if the nanny lives nearby OR mixed.
Both children are quite active, loving indoor and outdoor activities, enjoying reading and curious in learning new things.
The main duties will be looking after the children’s weekend routine: Get children up in the morning, give them breakfast, prepare meals for kids through the day. Plan or execute activities planned by mum, attending birthday parties, going to the park & being in charge of bedtime routine. Travel with the family for holidays might be expected, with notice in advance.
The family lives in a beautiful, large house, and they employ a housekeeper who’s looking after most of children’s laundry and they also have a full-time Monday-Friday nanny.
Working hours: 7.30am to 7.30pm, Saturday & Sunday + some bank or school holidays (BUT only by mutual agreement).
The starting date is ASAP;
Core Duties
- Complete all nannying duties, sole charge (parents will be around)
- Cooking and nursey duties
- Arrange leisure activities, educational excursions and activities
- Locating age-appropriate activities that will benefit the children
- Prioritise safety at all times
- Bedtime routine
Role Requirements
- Mastery of English
- Similar experience with these ages
- Clean driving licence – (preferably)
- Early Year child development knowledge (EYFS or KS1)
- Cooking skills (including pork)
- Paediatric first aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent references
Job Benefits
The hourly rate is up to £25 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. For the live-in option on Saturday night the accommodation consists of own fully furnished en-suite bedroom with TV and house wide wi-fi access. You can also arrive on Friday night and sleepover so you can start fresh on Saturday morning. Food is included. Parking available for your own car. This is a long-term and stable position, with a reputable repeating client of our agency.
