Are you a Live-in Nanny in London looking for a new role?
An international, professional family relocating to South Kensington, London is seeking a live-in After-School Nanny / Family Assistant to care for their two boys aged 10 & 15 y/o. The parents will travel about 5-8 days per month, so the role will involve proxy parenting during that time.
The main duties will be looking after the children’s day-to-day routine, preparing meals, looking after grocery shopping for all the meals, plan activities for the time when children are off, organize birthday parties or other relevant events. You will be in charge of the bedtime routine. Work with the parents on children’s education and development.
The successful candidate will be someone patient, caring, bright and self-started. The nanny might be required to cook daily dinners for the whole family and assist with light housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management.
Working hours: 30hrs per week; 5 days per week, 2 days off (flexibility required). Most of the time, 9.30am to 3.30pm – free.
The starting date is the first week of Jan 2023.
Core Duties
- Complete all nannying duties, sole charge
- Daily cooking
- Arrange leisure activities, educational excursions and activities
- Locating age-appropriate activities that will benefit the children
- Organising school needs, clothes, labelling uniforms etc;
- Assist with homework;
- Bedtime routine
Role Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a nanny
- Mastery of English (FL)
- Cooking skills
- Paediatric first aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent references
Job Benefits
The salary is £30,000 gross pa. The position comes with 28 days of paid holidays. Accommodation consists of separate flat in the same budling.
