Are you a Nanny in London searching for a new role?
A lovely professional family based in Wimbledon, London (SW20) is seeking a Daily Nanny (driver must) to care for their three children aged 8, 6 & 4. This is a long-term, sole-charge position.
Responsibilities will include some light housekeeping around the children, such as their laundry and ironing, and keeping their areas clean and tidy etc, school pick-up, taking the children to their activities, helping with the evening meal prep and routine, and generally ensuring that the children’s physical, emotional and well-being needs are met.
The children all attend the same school, however collection times are staggered and they all have different activities – expect to be tag teaming with Mum to make sure that everyone is where they should be at the right time.
The ideal candidate is experienced, extremely organised, has an intuitive understanding of children, and is active, fun and a great communicator. The children are easy-going and love life – a calm and cheerful candidate who can encourage respectful boundaries, can be firm but always fair, and who enjoys a busy household will be ideal. The children enjoy being outdoors, cooking and crafts among many other things, so candidates should be happy to engage with their various interests, and please also be comfortable around a medium-sized, very friendly dog. Availability for potential travel with the family during school holidays is required.
Working hours: 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday + some flexibility required;
The starting date is September 2023;
Core Duties
- Complete all nannying duties, sole charge
- Cooking and nursery duties
- School pick-ups + driving to after-school activities
- Arrange leisure activities, educational excursions and activities
- Locating age-appropriate activities that will benefit the children
- Bedtime routine
Role Requirements
- Mastery of English
- Similar/relevant experience with these ages
- Confident driver
- Paediatric first aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent references
Job Benefits
The salary is up £60,000 gross pa, depending on experience and qualifications. The position comes with 20 days of paid holidays + bank holidays. A car will be provided for work only (Automatic Tesla); This is a long-term role, with a reputable family.
