Are you a housekeeper cook looking for a new full-time role?
We are looking for a lovely live-in housekeeper cook to start working for a professional family of four, located in Penn, Beaconsfield (HP9), Bucks. The main responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness of their 5-bedrooms home and cook and serve healthy dishes for the family. The household includes two school-aged children (10 & 12 y/o), and a small and cute dog. No driving or travelling is involved.
Working schedule: 8-10 hours per day / 5 days per week. The family is flexible with the working hours, which can be discussed in a case by case situation.
Starting date: ASAP / Up to one month notice acceptable;
The duties include:
- Daily cooking and following recipes
- Sweeping, hoovering, cleaning, dusting
- Laundry and ironing
- Organising the bedrooms, changing bedding, fluffing pillows
- Cleaning all areas of the kitchen
- Tidying after meals
- Organising the cupboards, fridge, pantries
- Deep cleaning of bathrooms
- Cleaning down surfaces and polishing
- Window cleaning
- Keeping the front entrance, terrace and garden tidy
- Looking after the small dog (low-maintenance)
- Running errands
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Previous experience in working for a private family
- Cooking skills (ideally Continental + Asian cuisine)
- Good level of English
- A driving licence will be beneficial, but not essential
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Only non-smokers will be considered
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent references required prior to start
Job Benefits
The salary is £33,000 up to £40,000 gross per annum, based on experience. A discretionary annual bonus based on performance might be considered. Also, the position comes with 28 days of paid holidays (including bank holidays). The accommodation consists of an en-suite bedroom and bathroom, with TV and Wifi. Food and all bills are included. This is a long-term role with a long-standing client of our agency.
