Budgeting For Hiring a Housekeeper
Mid-level experience housekeepers: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum.
Highly experienced or specialized housekeepers: £45,000 – £50,000+ per annum.
For live-in housekeepers, the salary might be on the lower end of these ranges as accommodation (and sometimes meals) is provided.
These figures are rough estimates, and the actual salary can vary based on individual circumstances and specific requirements of the role.
On top of these costs, you should also account for the employer’s NI contributions which are about 10% on top of the gross salary.

It’s an absolute must to know exactly the work hours, duties, compensation, holiday, if travelling is required, live in or live out, bonuses, perks etc.
