If both tutor and student have the same textbooks, obviously this will work, but it’s also possible to “share” content from the Internet (which both Tutor and Student can see), and there’s also a “White Board” facility, like a classroom blackboard to emphasise/explain matters.
A Tutor said: “Some schools are offering “virtual classroom teaching”, but I’m not sure how beneficial that would be for kids who are struggling or require individual assistance. So far, most domestic recruitment agencies have shown little interest in this facility (or the parents they represent haven’t requested it), which surprises me somewhat. “
